What is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna?

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna is a Central Government Scheme that offers all the farmers a financial benefit of Rs.6,000 as Income support from the Central government.

This Yojana is for all the small and marginal farmers of India. This 75,000 crore scheme aims to cover all the 125 million farmers in India. PM Narendra Modi introduced this Scheme to support Indian Farmers.

The money is provided to the farmers in three installments as Rs.2000 for every four months on an installments basis.

Who introduced the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna?

The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna was introduced on December 1, 2018, but came into effect on February 24, 2019.

He started the Scheme by transferring the fund of the first installments of Rs. 2,000 to one crore farmers in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
